Where we work
Where our two crews go
The shop is on Beaver Avenue in Des Moines. We drive to the city and the suburbs around it, and we keep the list short so we can keep our word on the schedule.

By house age
What we often find, by the age of the house
Every house is different. These are the patterns, not a promise about yours.
Bungalows from the 1920s and 30s
Common in Beaverdale, Highland Park and Union Park. Often galvanized steel to every fixture, a full basement, and one bathroom upstairs.
Cottages and Cape Cods from the 1940s
Common in Windsor Heights and Waveland Park. Steel supply, sometimes with copper added in a later bathroom.
Ranches from the 1950s and 60s
Common in Merle Hay, Urbandale and Johnston. Steel or copper, a basement under most, and short runs that are easy to reach.
Not on the list?
Call Andrea. If we can't come, she'll say so on the first call.
