Before anyone drives out
How pricing works
What decides the price
A repipe is priced on a few things, and the plan tells you which ones apply to your house.
House size and the number of bathrooms
How easy the pipes are to reach from the basement
Plaster walls or drywall
Whether the whole house or one floor is done
A permit, when the city asks for one
What the plan includes, and what it doesn't
Labor, pipe and fittings, new shutoffs, the permit, and closing every opening with drywall.
Not included: paint, wallpaper, and tile behind the tub unless the plan says so
Not included: matching old plaster, which is its own line
What happens at the visit
We read the gauge, walk the basement and bathrooms, and mark the plan. There's a visit fee. We tell you the amount on the phone, and credit it to the job if you hire us.
After hours
We only do planned work, so there's no after-hours rate. If a pipe lets go at night, shut the main and call a plumber who works nights. We'll plan the repipe with you when the office opens.
When you get the number
In writing, before any work starts, with the openings marked. Most houses get one price. Nothing begins without your yes.
Pricing questions
Short answers about money
Will I get a price before you start?
Yes. It's in writing, with each opening marked, and work starts only after you say yes.
What does the visit cost?
There's a visit fee for the gauge reading and the walkthrough. We tell you the amount on the phone, and it's credited to the job if you hire us.
Do you take payment in stages?
The plan states when each payment is due. We tell you before you sign, not after.
Want the number for your house?
